Circular Economy Package – Information sheet

Accordingly to our will to improve the quality and the pertinence of our services and in the framework of a better tuned information policy, we’re launching a new communication initiative, aiming to alert all our affiliates on sector related issues, when raised in the EU Institutions environment and outside from it.

All sector relevant information will be distributed to our members, as soon as officially confirmed, through a schematic but clear and complete “Fact Sheet” format, indicating:

  • The essentials to be known;
  • The sector expected impact;
  • The link to the full document (when available);
  • The CEI-Bois Priority Area to which the issue is related;
  • The CEI-Bois colleague to whom you are invited to address shall you need more details;
  • The date and the number of the Information Sheet.

To inaugurate the initiative, please find enclosed the Fact Sheet n. 1, related to the new Circular Economy Package to stimulate Europe’s transition towards a Circular Economy, adopted and issued by the EC last Tuesday.

We will try hard to keep the essentials in one page only but as you can easily understand (like in the present case) it will sometimes need a 2 pages set.

We’ll consider this 1st issue as a test and look forward to receiving your remarks, in order to confirm we’re better matching your information expectations, both in terms of content and layout and, if so, improve future issues.

Yours,

Patrizio ANTONICOLI

Secretary General
European Confederation of Woodworking Industries aisbl (CEI-Bois)
